Director of Sales

We are looking for a highly dynamic Director of Sales. This position will be responsible for the sourcing, promoting, & closing of sales with clients nationwide. As our Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role by leading sales presentations and working closely with the President/CEO. This position needs an exceptional, results-oriented hands-on sales executive to secure contracts with customers within the credit union and banking industry.

Responsibilities

  • Direct sourcing and generation of leads. It is expected that the ideal Director will be bringing an extensive, relevant network of customer leads.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers.
  • Use consultative sales skills to understand prospect issues and the benefits of the company's solutions.
  • Create, monitor and continuously improve metrics on sales and closing rations and optimize sales cycle management.
  • Work within budget guidelines to maintain target profitability.
  • May include other sales related duties as needed by business responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Requires ability to travel 60-70% of time.
  • Strong written communication and analytical skills.
  • 10+ years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in Director level position.
  • High energy and drive to succeed in a startup environment.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
  • Experience selling services and/or software to credit union and banking industry executives.
  • Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
